Join me as I rank the cities in Italy that I have been to!

An Overview of Italy
I visited Italy for 11 days with a group of friends and it was one of the best trips ever! Italy is a massive country with each city having its own unique identity. The only thing that stays the same is that the food is so damn good anywhere you go (and cheap)! We flew into Venice and flew out of Naples and took trains to every destination in between. The trip was actually quite affordable, especially with such a large group (9 people). I think for flights, trains and hotels, I spent no more than $250 in total! In Florence, Rome and Amalfi, we stayed in an AirBnB while in Venice we stayed in a hotel! The AirBnB we had in Amalfi was absolutely amazing with great views.
Below I rank the cities I've been to. I start with my least favourite and work my way up to my number 1 pick! Enjoy!
#5. Florence
Florence was not my favourite, unfortunately. I don't know if it was the rain or the bad experience we had with a club (was all good until the end), but Florence was just underwhelming for me.. There is a lot of art and I'm pretty sure it is known for its art but I am not the biggest fan of that. I did however, have an amazing brunch at Le Vespe Cafe! The Duomo and main square were nice too. I wouldn't go back to Florence anytime soon though.

#4. Naples
Naples was the city our train got into from Rome. It was the closest we could get in order to get to Amalfi. Naples was cool, wouldn't necessarily jump at the chance to visit again but it did have a bunch of cool markets.
#3. Venice
Venice was so cool. It was our first stop and it was a great city to start off the trip. It wasn't too crowded because it is March, still quite chilly but warmer than London! It didn't hit me until after I came back home but I realised that I didn't see a single car! The only way you could get around was by boat, bike (motorised or other) or foot. How this city is still standing is beyond my comprehension but I'm glad it is!

#2. Amalfi Coast
This was a tough one. Amalfi was like a DREAM. We stayed in the most fantastic AirBnB up in the hills and the views were incredible. It also had a hot tub and a cat that eventually became our BFF. This is truly a place that you will need to see for yourself. I am so happy that out of all the places, we spent the most time here!
#1. Rome
Rome was my absolute favourite city in Italy. There is SO much to see and to do. This city is rich with history from the Colosseum to the Roman Ruins to the Trevi Fountain and everything in between. The Lizzie McGuire movie set my expectations SO high and I was not disappointed. It is a truly magical place and my only wish is that I spent more time there!
