There's an overwhelming amount of things to do in Ireland, especially Dublin. There are some tourist spots that are a must but there is more to Dublin than that. Here is a list of places that are sure not to disappoint. Happy reading!

Things to do:

1. Trinity College

Walk the grounds and see the library and book of Kells. The architecture here is stunning and if you go on a beautiful (rare) day, the courtyard in the spring is magnificent.

2. Guinness Storehouse

Tour the factory and have a pint in the gravity bar. There are views of Dublin from here and you will get the best Guinness you have ever had!

3. Dun Laoighre People's Park Market

You can drive or take the DART out to Dun Laoighre and walk up to the market in the park. You can get loads of different things at the stalls and walk the promenade by the sea.

4. Kilmainham Gaol

Get a tour of the Gaol which is where the Irish Rising prisoners were held.

5. Jameson Distillery

Who doesn't love some whiskey? Get a tour of the distillery and trying some whiskey!

6. Viking Splash Tour

This is meant to be good "craic", as they say in Ireland. You can tour Dublin in the splash boat. A great break and alternative to all of the walking that you will probably be doing.

7. Stephen's Green

Walk around the green and get some lit pics for Insta! If the sun is on the forecast, save this for a good day (rare I know).

8. Glasnevin Cemetery

Although it is a cemetery, it is meant to be brilliant. You can get a tour of the graves of the Irish Rebels killed in the up rising. Afterwards, you can head up to the Grave Diggers Pub for a pint.

9. Temple Bar

Last but certainly not least, Temple Bar! Temple Bar is both and area in Dublin and an actual bar. In this case, I am talking about both. It can be a bit of a tourist trap. I entered The Temple Bar one night in Dublin and immediately walked out. Maybe going during the day and having a pint and enjoying traditional Irish music would be better than going at night. It was packed with people and just was not that fun. But do get a pic both during the day and at night if you can as it very nicely decorated! The area, however, is cool to walk around in and enjoy the buzz. There are loads of bars and restaurants and there is no shortage of live music.

Brunch:

1. Bow Lane

We came here extremely tired from our early flight and were waiting for our room to be ready. They did a FANTASTIC Eggs Royale and I loveeee my Eggs Royale. It was dimly lit, a great vibe and helpful staff. The food was so good and filling and the vibe was so relaxing that I almost fell asleep right then and there.

2. San Lorenzo

Head to San Lorenzo to have a bottomless brunch to get the day started on a weekend.

3. Clever East

Clever East has bottomless brunch and is located in the Temple Bar area of Dublin.

4. Angelina's

Love it here! Definitely give this place a try.

5. Bibi's

Best brunch in Dublin in my opinion. It a little father away from the Temple Bar area of Dublin but it is worth it!

Dinner:

1. Roberta's

Roberta's was AWESOME. Seriously, go here. It is located in the Temple Bar area so if you are heading for a night out there, this would be a perfect place to start off your night. Not only is this place so beautifully designed, the food was amazing. Loved the vibe. The bar was at the center of everything and was a beautiful focal point of the restaurant. We went on a Saturday night so there was a DJ. There were some views of Dublin as it is in the top floor of the building. I even saw the actor Cillian Murphy while at dinner. 10/10 would recommend.

2. Peruke and Periwig

A nice spot for dinner and drinks and at a reasonable price too!

3. 777

The best Mexican food in Dublin. Yes, I know, it's weird to go to Ireland and eat Mexican but, if that's what you're craving, this is your place!

4. Yammaori

The best sushi in Dublin! Give it a go if that's what you happen to be in the mood for. Make sure it is the izakaya restaurant on George's Street.

5. Paulie's

The best pizza in Dublin and the restaurant is cool too!

6. Bunsen

The best burger ever, bar none! Try it!!

7. The Market Bar

If you are in the mood for it, this is the best place for Tapas in Dublin.

Drinks:

1. The Shelbourne Hotel

You have to have a cocktail here. It is the best in Dublin. It is expensive but worth it. If you can get a window seat, do it. You might need to dress up a bit.

2. P'Macs

A bit of a hipster vibe here but again its good "craic" and right in the middle of the city.

3. Zozimus

Another cool bar that is located by the main nightclub area in Dublin. You can have pre-drinks here and be right in the middle of all the action!

4. Sam's Bar

More of a late night bar with music. Go to another bar first and then head here later on in the night.

So, there you have it! A list of things to see, places to eat, drink and party at. Enjoy Dublin!
